Join us for another Stitch for Haneen fundraiser where together we will gather and cross-stitch an original pattern featuring Armenian script intertwining Palestinian & Armenian motifs.
We will briefly discuss embroidery and introduce the pattern before getting started. No experience necessary. This is not a class, however we will help each other along the way. We are reserving the hour at the end of this fundraiser as an opportunity for folks to view our current Threadlines exhibition as a part of Portland Textile Month.
All materials will be provided, including thread to get started and a PDF pattern for you to take home. 100% of ticket sale profits will go to Haneen, a Palestinian Tatreez artist, teacher & mother in Gaza.

Accessibility: all events at SWANA Rose are masks required. Wear KN-95 or better. We will have masks available. Please stay home if you’re not feeling well. SWANA Rose does not currently have an ADA accessible bathroom.
