We discuss threadlines, traditions, heritage, lineage and diaspora in the context of handwork, art and craft with our panelists. Includes an interview with artist, curator and teacher Wafa Ghnaim who is a significant connection on many of our stitchers threadlines.
This recording also features a virtual tour of our show for anyone and everyone who couldn’t make it in person to SWANA Rose in Portland, Oregon. It showcases the works for 23 SWANA artists, hailing from various traditions, diasporas and artistic practices.
